One of the greatest gifts we are given is the ability to move our bodies.
The ability to move to the beat of music is also a great gift. Ballroom dancing utilizes these gifts. The dancing is “clean” and helps us to be physically fit. Of all the gifts we are given, to me singing is right up there at the top. But, I do not have a voice that every one else wants to hear singing. So music and others singing is a great passion of mine. I have always “free styled” dance and it did help me to feel a part of the music. But with ballroom dancing, you with or without a partner feel a part of the music in a more intimate way more than free style dancing ever allowed you to be.
Looking the part you are dancing helps to make you feel you are a part of the music. You can buy your ballroom dance shoes on sale and the money you pay will also help you feel a part of the music. You will be smiling at all the money you saved and the feeling you are getting from the dance with ballroom dance shoes on your feet.
