The social ballroom dance community is like the Marines, we are looking for a few good men! 
Seriously, there really is a shortage of men at social dances. There are normally 10 to 20 women left at their seats when a dance is going on. There has to be a way to get more men to start ballroom dancing and to go to the social dances. When I get dressed up and put on my fantastic red dress and my red tango dance shoes, it is really a huge disappointment to go to the dance and not have anyone to dance with. The tango and the waltz are definitely my favorite dances.
