Having a ball at a ballroom dance just takes getting up and slipping on one of your prettier dresses or skirts and going. Get there and put on you 2.5 inch red patent ballroom dance shoes and just get up and dance to the music. If men are sitting and not dancing, it is ok for you to ask them just as much as it is for them to ask you. The worse that could happen is they will say no. But more than likely they will dance with you and you have at least met a new acquaintance, and maybe just a really good dance partner for more dances.
